Forge International is seeking two highly motivated people for the position of Community Coordinator – one for our Pier park location and one for our Pockwood Pond Campus. The Community Coordinator is an integral part of our Community Team. This person is the first smiling face that greets our community members, students and anyone that happens to come onto our campus on a daily basis. This is an entry-level position that provides opportunities for growth and daily engagement with dozens of companies. It can be expected that the two community coordinators will take turns working out of each campus at various points, however there will be a primary campus. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the Forge members on-boarding process
  • Greet guests and connect them with their hosts
  • Greet and manage all Forge members daily needs around the campus
  • Manage Forge members’ A/V needs and other facility needs
  • Organize campus tours for prospective members
  • Sort, file, and distribute mail
  • Answer phones
  • Help with the set-up/tear-down and facilitation of community events
  • Manage office supplies
  • Member kitchen area management
  • Assist in supporting the Event Coordinator
  • Conduct sweaps every two hours around campus to maintain a tidy and effective workspace
  • Assist in communicating to the Marketing/Communication team for campus specific information for social media/content/newsletter needs
  • Support the customer support program in conjunction with the other campus community coordinators
  • Order and maintain swag, stickers and other marketing material (flyers, tri-folds, etc)
  • Administrative support for Forge staff
  • Work with other Forge team members on the design and management of our external newsletter, and blog about major events that take place

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative role
  • 1+ years of experience in hospitality
  • Associates Degree in Business or Communications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Experience troubleshooting basic office equipment problems
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passionate about working with entrepreneurs and business startups
  • Works well with others as well as autonomously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
